“An investment in knowledge pays the best interest”
The title of this blog is a quote from Benjamin Franklin and is number nine on the Forbes Top 100 Money Quotes of All Time. Given the type of business we are, this quote is particularly relevant. We have always believed that any time someone spends increasing their knowledge about anything is time well spent. This may not seem worthwhile at the time, but you never know when, in the future, that the extra knowledge you spent time gaining will be of great help to you.
When I started these blogs, my intention was to use them as a news update for our business and for the industry in general. With that in mind I thought a quick update on how things are going for Raven Training.
You may or may not be aware that we managed to achieve our aim of becoming an approved centre for Driver CPC Training. We were extremely pleased when we received the confirmation from JAUPT . With this done it was on to the next stage; our courses.
Course approval can be a challenging thing to deal with. I am fortunate that in my previous job at Tyro Training, I was responsible for their Driver CPC Training provision. This meant that the yearly course approvals were my responsibility. My previous experience in doing this, meant that I was fairly calm and confident that I could get our course and modules approved. Although, there is always that slight tinge of the unknown when you are asking for approval for brand new courses.
To date, we are still (hopefully) edging towards our course and modules being approved. If they are, that will signal the true start of Raven Training, as there will be nothing stopping us from being able to deliver Driver CPC Training to our customers.
I think I will wrap up this latest blog, but I look forward to writing more in the near future.
